Our Story.

Meet Frankie, my Miniature Dachshund and the inspiration behind Poppetino! When I adopted Frankie in 2023, I envisioned the perfect walking accessories for him. I wanted something that prioritised comfort, practicality, and durability while maintaining a sleek, minimalist design—solid colours, no over-the-top patterns, and no bulky, flashy logos. Surprisingly, finding this combination was more challenging than I expected, and I ended up sourcing a complete four-piece set from three different brands. With over eight years of experience in the fashion industry and a stint at a dog food startup, I decided to combine my two passions and create Poppetino to fill this gap in the UK & Ireland.

Our debut collection of accessories offers a selection of colourful, comfortable and durable four piece sets including a harness, collar, lead and poo bag dispenser. The clean aesthetic of these sets ensure that our accessories will complement any breed or coat, and our range of adjustable sizes means that there's something for every dog, big or small. Poppetino harnesses are made from breathable Nylon fabric - comfortable for playtime and machine washable for aprés. Our leads and collars are made from reinforced vinyl, meaning they are naturally waterproof and resistant to dirt, mud, and grime unlike other absorbant materials. A quick wipe keeps it clean and ready for your next outing.

​As Poppetino grew, I quickly realised that the perfect walking accessories weren’t just about the lead or harness—they extended to every part of the dog-walking experience, including the less glamorous task of cleaning up after your pup. After all, if you go to the trouble of buying beautiful, thoughtfully designed accessories for your dog, why settle for carrying around unattractive sludge-green or black poo bags? Traditional options not only clashed with the aesthetic but were also mostly plastic and terrible for the environment. That’s when I decided to create poo bags that were as aesthetically pleasing as the rest of the Poppetino range. Compostable, biodegradable, and sleek in design, they bring a touch of elegance to even the messiest moments, so every part of your walk feels cohesive and aligned with your values. Our motto? Shit happens, handle it responsibly.
